The silient explosion of blossoms is popping out all over. Vibrant colors are decorating the landscape. Springtime at last!
With nearly one month left of the term, a flurry of activities are also noticeable at the Internationella Engelska Skolan Järfälla. Work on final projects, studying for major exams and completion of the grade 6 and grade 9 national tests are but a few of the important academic matters keeping students and staff focused.
The Science Fair was held and hundreds of interesting projects were on display. The results of the finals will be posted soon. All grade 7 students travelled downtown for a study visit to the mosque on Södermalm and the synagogue near Kungsträdgården. Grade 8 just returned from their PRAO practical workplace experience and final preparations are organized for the grade 7 trip to Åland and the grade 9 visit to Auschwitz and Krakow.

As students complete their final schoolwork, we have seen enormous progress in all areas for each individual. Students’ enthusiasm for meeting the challenges of our school’s expectations is only surpassed by their outstanding results. Well done!
Parents: We’ll be asking for your reflections again. The annual on-line survey will be appearing soon in your e-mail box. Thank you for your honest responses. Based on your answers, Mr. Elder and I are empowered to continue to develop our school towards even greater quality and promote students’ performance.

The Indian summer air of October and the colors of autumn are refreshing and welcome. Here at Internationella Engelska Skolan Järfälla the start of the school year has gone smoothly.
