Thank you all for the SPT meetings online. We’ll see how the setup will be next term, online or in school all depending on the Corona restrictions. On Wednesday night teachers are running the Subject teacher meetings for you to discuss more deeply regarding a specific subject, what to improve and how.
The Mental Health Day was a success! Seven IES schools booked him in during October and we all thought he presented this important topic in an inspiring and sensitive way. A follow up session for Y8 and Y9 will be held in Klassråd week 48. Please, contact John at JCK Foundation if you have any questions or want to speak to him by this email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Thursday 18th November, we are having a digital Intro Night for the students in our queue to start here next year in Y5 and Y6 in 22/23. We are so looking forward to this!
Fun Fridays continue. We raised 5500 SEK to BRIS in October. We are happy to support BRIS as they are doing a lot to support children who need them. As we are focusing even more this year on wellbeing we wanted to sponsor an organisation that is supporting our youths. This Friday we are having a Fun Friday with fundraising for Movember. You might have seen many staff members that have grown their mustaches and still two more weeks to go. Hot chocolate will be sold in the cafeteria as well as mustaches. That was popular last year and many students have asked for it. Please, come with some kind of mustache, fake or not, on Friday.
Clubs have been running outside this term and we are hoping to start running them inside, all depending on the Corona restrictions. So far we have football and running clubs. On Monday we are starting a performance club in the Aula, the aim is to record a show for the End of Term day. We really promote students to dare to be on stage and to show others their different talents. Stronger Together!
We wish Y9 and Y8 good luck on their PRAO as well as good luck to Y6 and Y9 with the Oral national tests next Tuesday and Wednesday.
